STEM Teachers of the Future
A week-long summer experience for high school students interested in pursuing careers as STEM teachers
Assistant Dean for Development
A Central Valley native, Natalie fell in love with philanthropy as an undergraduate at Chico State where she worked as a student caller. This resolve stuck with her, leading her to a position in Pacific’s Annual Giving Office. She now leads development and alumni relations outreach for Benerd College and happily creates opportunities for passionate leaders to cultivate a hub of innovation and learning.
Faculty and students from Benerd College, the College of the Pacific and the School of Engineering and Computer Science will collaborate to host a week-long summer experience for high school students interested in pursuing careers as STEM teachers. They will engage with students currently enrolled in the teacher preparation program and other STEM content areas, as well as learn about the pedagogical principles of teaching science, technology, engineering and math.Give
