The Conservatory of Music at the University of the Pacific is the first Conservatory on the West Coast, and the 7th to be founded in the United States, established in 1878. More than 140 years later, the Conservatory has shaped the lives of thousands of musicians and impacted not only the region, but the world. Notable Conservatory alumni such as Dave Brubeck and Yoshiaki Onishi infused into society an understanding that the musical arts build connection and community to cross all social and economic boundaries to changes lives and society.

Briana comes to the Conservatory with over ten years of fundraising experience. Her previous roles have included Director of Development for the Brubeck Institute and Assistant Dean for the Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific. Briana has over 22 years of experience working with non-profits in the arts and social sector. She received her MA in Organizational Behavior from Alliant University and BA in Sociology from University of California, Santa Cruz. You can find her working with donors, faculty, students and staff to illustrate the impact that Philanthropy can have on generations. Briana enjoys spending time gardening, baking, and adventures with her family and four-legged kids.
