Pamela A. Eibeck



Dr. Pamela A. Eibeck became the 24th President of University of the Pacific on July 1, 2009. Under her leadership, Pacific is implementing a bold vision to become a University that spans three metropolitan regions of Northern California – Stockton, Sacramento, and San Francisco – while enhancing its academic excellence and student success.  President Eibeck’s commitment to community, including the Beyond Our Gates effort to improve early literacy in Stockton, was recognized by the 2015 ATHENA Leadership Award.

Burnie Atterbury

Vice President for University Development and Alumni Relations


Burnie oversees all aspects of the Leading with Purpose campaign. He believes the division’s purpose is to improve society by positively impacting the quality of life for those who are learning, and by providing a channel for donors to realize their philanthropic passion. Proud parent of a Pacific SOECS graduate.

Cathy Wooton

Senior Associate Vice President

Development and Alumni Relations


Cathy is responsible for oversight of planned giving, parent giving and annual giving teams, while also leading budget and human resource matters for the division. Cathy, a Pacific alumna, loves being a part of the community and seeing the impact donors can have through philanthropy. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Stockton, and of other professional organizations and philanthropies that make a difference locally, nationally and internationally.

Scott Biedermann

Associate Vice President



Scott is responsible for oversight of principal and major giving, school-based giving, athletics giving, corporate and foundation relations and campaign management. He is a proud alumnus of Pacific and is currently pursuing his EdD in Educational Administration at the Benerd School of Education. His purpose is to secure financial support to ensure the excellence of the University. Scott spends most of his free time cheering on his three children at swimming and water polo meets with his wife, Alicia, who he met at Pacific.

Judy Nagai

Assistant Vice President



Judy is responsible for oversight of the college and school-based major giving program on the Stockton campus. Having spent more than 20 years working in higher education, her purpose is to increase access to higher education through philanthropy. Judy holds a BS from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Kelli (Williams) Page ’87 joined University of the Pacific in 1996. She supervises a staff of nine individuals with the responsibility of administering programs that engage alumni with their alma mater, as well as overseeing the Vereschagin Alumni House. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies with a minor in business from University of the Pacific.

Elizabeth Bacon

Elizabeth helps facilitate the behind-the-scenes elements of the campaign. Originally hired at Pacific in 1996, Jim spent 16 years working for Tiger Athletics and 3 years overseeing the Pacific Fund before being promoted into his current role. Jim earned a BS in Business at Pacific in 1986, a MS in Sport Management from the U.S. Sports Academy in 1990 and a MA in Education Administration from Stanford in 1993. In May 2019, Jim’s youngest son Jack will become the 13th member of the Dugoni family to graduate from Pacific.

Parent Giving


Kris ’92 returned to his alma mater in 2015 to take on the responsibilities of parent fundraising in support of scholarships, experiential learning, endowments and the student life needs of the University. Kris played quarterback for Pacific and enjoyed playing professionally overseas after graduation. Kris and his wife, Veronica have two sons.

Molly Byrne

Corporate and Foundation Relations


Molly directs the University’s central office that fosters partnerships between Pacific and companies, industry and private philanthropic organizations. She comes to Pacific with extensive fundraising experience from both the nonprofit and business communities. A native of California, Molly holds a BA from Loyola Marymount University and an MA from George Washington University.

Emily Novick

Corporate and Foundation Relations


Emily is part of the corporate and foundation relations team in the central office that fosters relationships between Pacific, companies, industry and private philanthropy. She comes from the UC system, having been a part of both the central corporate and foundation relations office at UC Irvine and the College of Engineering at UC Berkeley. She has a BA in Legal Studies and Spanish as well as an MA in International Relations/Latin American Affairs, both from Chapman University. She is a huge sports fanatic and gym nut and you can generally find her playing soccer, traveling, or exploring Sacramento with her boyfriend.

Georgette ’90 has found a strategic intersection between social interests and philanthropy. Her purpose is to guide donors to engage in opportunities to create impact and transform lives by giving through Pacific. Specializing in capital projects she is focused on the Library renovation. She also concentrates transformative gifts of Powell Match and Endowed Scholarships, and Student Life Initiatives to include internships, leadership and scholarships for first generation college students. Her expertise supports all schools and units and she would love to assist you in your purposeful gift to Pacific. Her husband Chris ’74, daughter Allie ’16 and son Billy are proud members of a Pacific legacy family.

Michael Richmond

Michael leads the annual giving team, which is responsible for developing and implementing annual programs and activities to generate a base of ongoing support for initiatives throughout Pacific. He and his team collaborate with shareholders across all three campuses to enhance students' experience and provide scholarship opportunities. He and his wife Lana, enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors with their four children.

Jonelle Beck

Jonelle supervises the gift planning for our three campuses and oversees trust and estate matters for the Office of General Counsel. Her team provides expertise to development officers while securing complex, unique, or long-term gifts. Joelle’s background includes 17 years as an attorney handling estate planning and real estate matters. She received her JD from McGeorge in 2000 and enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children.

Melisa Addison

Development Officer


Melisa was born and raised in Stockton and now resides in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill. She began her career at Pacific on the Stockton campus prior to her transfer to the Dugoni School in 2015. She earned her BA in history from Sacramento State and started her fundraising career there as a student caller. Outside of work, Melisa enjoys exploring the city, traveling, hiking and relaxing on the beach.

Reed Milnes

Reed spearheads alumni fundraising and reunion giving for the Dugoni School. Working closely with the Alumni Association, he helps alumni “pay it forward,” supporting current and future students in the pursuit of their dreams. Reed can be often found in the kitchen “whipping-up” any number of spicy things, playing golf, or exploring the San Francisco music scene.

Jimilynn’s purpose is to leverage philanthropic values with Pacific’s initiatives. Her specialties include irrevocable gifts of education, transformational philanthropy, and inspirational lifetime moments of impact. Outside of work, Jimilynn enjoys puzzles, philosophy, political data analysis, and surfing. She is a proud parent of two adult children.

He has experience in educational development, fundraising and business development. Kevin received his BA in Sociology from Westmont College and his MBA from the University of Phoenix. He enjoys running and volunteering with Stockton Unified School District.

Rod is responsible for the fundraising efforts for Pacific's business school. Rod strives to engage alumni and other influencers to provide mentorship and career opportunities for our current and future business leaders. When he's not working, he's trying to find a channel showing the Chicago Bulls or his beloved Indiana Hoosiers on television.

Natalie Vera

A Central Valley native, Natalie fell in love with philanthropy as an undergraduate at Chico State where she worked as a student caller. This resolve stuck with her, leading her to a position in Pacific’s Annual Giving Office. She now leads development and alumni relations outreach for the Gladys L. Benerd School of Education and happily creates opportunities for passionate leaders to cultivate a hub of innovation and learning.

Mindy Danovaro

Assistant Dean of Advancement


Mindy is responsible for fundraising in support of scholarships, experiential learning, endowments, academic and programmatic needs of the law school. Her background includes fundraising for a variety of industries ranging from healthcare and emergency medical services to the arts. She received her B.A. in Fine Art from UCLA and her M.A in Communications from New York Institute of Technology.

Sally Cebreros

Director of Development


Sally is responsible for fund development and managing endowments and scholarships at McGeorge. She has served over 20 years on the McGeorge Development and Alumni Relations team and three years leading the University’s Annual Giving team. Previously, she worked in Development and Alumni Relations at Christian Brothers High School and at Price Waterhouse. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento.

Nancy DeGuire

Associate Dean for External Relations and Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice


Nancy supervises external relations staff and activities, including continuing professional education, marketing and public relations, alumni and donor relations, recruitment, program development and fundraising for the school. Nancy first joined the pharmacy faculty in 1997 and teaches Professionalism and Pharmacy Practice. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Pacific in 1989.

Susan Webster

Susan has great pride in Pacific’s pharmacy and health sciences students and is delighted to work with alumni and donors to create scholarships, network, fund research, and support important programming at the School. Her two sons, Matt and Chris, are current Pacific students—thanks in part to Susan’s stories of faculty and alumni success stories at the dinner table.

Tod Davis

Powell Match Manager


After a 20-plus year career in fundraising in the greater Stockton community, Tod '89 returned to his alma mater in 2011. In 2014, he took on a newly created position to oversee the administration of the Powell Match, a nearly $100 million gift-matching program made possible by Robert and Jeannette Powell’s transformative gift. Since his return, both of Tod's kids have enrolled at Pacific.

Tim Dickson

Executive Associate Director



Tim leads all areas of fundraising for Pacific Athletics, working closely with alumni and donors on facility projects and endowments. He is a member of the athletics senior staff and oversees golf, tennis and men’s basketball. Tim received his BA from Pacific in 1998 and previously worked in athletics at St. Mary’s College and Long Beach State. He and his wife, Julie, met at Pacific and are busy raising their two children.

Johanna Bakmas

Johanna ’09 manages the major communication pieces for the campaign. She is a proud Pacific alumna and holds a BA in history from Pacific and a MA in museum studies from George Washington University. When she’s not storytelling for Pacific, you’ll find her volunteering in the Stockton community or spending time with her husband Rob '08 and their dog Timmy.

Amy Martin

Amy is responsible for donor relations on all three of Pacific’s campuses and is honored to share the impact of philanthropy with the University’s donors. Getting to hear firsthand how a student’s life can be changed by the generosity of a stranger is the inspiration behind her work. Amy and her husband Mark stay busy raising four boys, the oldest of which is a student at Pacific.

Steve Whyte

Events Manager


Steve has spent his career in marketing and event production since graduating from Pacific in 1979. After owning a special event production company for 10 years, Steve returned to head up Pacific’s event planning operations. His wife, Judee Tippett-Whyte, graduated from the Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1986 as the first woman valedictorian in the school’s history.

Jen has been in the fundraising industry from the east coast to the west coast for more than 10 years. Jen raises funds to support University Library projects and initiatives and is philanthropically driven to making a difference in the Pacific community.

Steve serves as the Student Life Development Officer and focuses on connecting the passions of alumni and other University friends to the many Student Life programs that enhance student success. Steve received his undergraduate degree from Washington State University in English and his Masters of Education degree from Plymouth State University. In 2007, Steve received his Ed.D degree in Educational Administration from Pacific.
